Val Bott will be giving a lecture about some of the nursery gardeners of the Brentford & Chiswick area between 1680 and 1820. Her research has used local history and family history to discover the links between the gardening families and what they grew, rangin from patent elms, through pineapples to Williams pears.
Tickets are available from the London Parks and Gardens Trust at £8 for LPGT members abd Museum Friends and £9 for others.
